Facility

Connectivity
One of the most important parts of our facility lies in our networking. We have built a reliable network using 100 Base-T Ethernet connectivity, multiple SNAP (Satellite Network Access Point) connections to prevent network outage.
1. Multiple (3 x 45Mbps) Satellite Connections
2. 100 Base-T Ethernet Standard
Security
As with any facility, security is a major issue. The types of security issues that arise exist across multiple spectrums, fire protection, electrical failure, external hack attempts, data backup, and entry point intrusion. We have taken great steps to repel all possible scenarios.
Network Equipment
GSD uses Carrier Class Cisco Routers and a combination of Cisco and 3Com for switching technology. In addition, Capital Internet utilizes Sun, Dell and Intel for its server hardware. American Power Conversion (APC) equipment is used for our Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. A combination of Broadlogic, Harmonic and IPricot are used for DVB receivers and Comstream modem is used for transmitting technology.
